Oskana Day
Did you know? Oskana and Wascana both originate from the Cree word meaning “Pile of Bones,” which was used to refer to the area now known as Regina.
This National Indigenous People’s Day, we’re excited to announce a celebration of our city’s Indigenous heritage and culture. Join us on July 19 and August 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m for Oskana Day.
We’re collaborating with Wade BigEagle and Nature Saskatchewan on a hide tanning demonstration, Indigenous games and more.
Join the fun at Legislative Landing for Oskana Day!
