Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Wascana Busker Festival, returning on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

We are looking for talented performers to perform around Wascana Lake, such as:

  • Musicians
  • Dancers
  • Magicians

… and more!

Deadline for applications: Monday, August 10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (CST)

Performers who perform in the 2026 Wascana Busker Festival will receive a $200.00 CAD honorarium (per act).

In the event of inclement weather conditions on September 19, 2026, the 2026 Wascana Busker Festival will be moved to the following weekend on September 26, 2026.

How To Apply

1. Read the busking guidlines, then fill out the 2026 Wascana Busker Festival application to completion:

2. Send the completed application via email to wcvisitorservices@gov.sk.ca, including a photo of yourself and a one minute video of an example of your performance.

3. Patience. We will review your application and will notify you via email if you are chosen.

Performers will find out if they have been chosen for the 2026 Wascana Busker Festival the week after the application deadline (Monday, August 10, 2026) following a review of all applications submitted.
