Thank you for joining us for our summer programming
Thank you for joining us this summer throughout our summer programming.
This summer at Wascana Centre, we went on boat tours on Wascana Lake, did crafts, played Bumperball or dodgeball on the West Lawn and learned about the Wascana Cultural Trailway during Thursdays in Wascana.
We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of Willow Island as we spent time with our friends and families enjoying our lunch or activities during Picnic on the Island.
Our kids enjoyed learning about Wascana Centre and the area within including forestry, horticulture, Wascana Lake, and the Habitat Conservation Area during Wascana Wonders.
We celebrated Indigenous culture through a hide tanning demonstration, Indigenous games, a discovery table and more during Oskana Day.
We learned all about the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens courtesy of Wascana Centre’s former lead horticulturalist for 30+ years, Steven Weir, during the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens Tours.
And we still have one more summer programming event left, the Wascana Busker Festival, taking place on September 13.
We’ll see you in summer 2026 with more summer programming, stay tuned for our exciting winter programming coming up!
