When?

You will be notified here and on our Wascana Centre social media through our stories (Facebook and Instagram) when we are holding the next $5 boat tours.

We are not accepting bookings in advance for these $5 boat tours. They are first come, first served, so we recommend you get there earlier in the event to ensure you will get a tour time. When you get to the front of the line, you will be assigned the next tour time for you/and your group.

Where?

Pick-up is at Legislative Landing, just off of Walter Scott Way and north of the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens.

Cost?

They are only $5 per person. If you have a child that is 2 years old or younger, it is free. Everyone above the age of 2 is $5 per person.

A group of people sit on a motorized boat during the day on Wascana Lake. A life preserver hangs on the side, with the side of the boat reading "Wasca 1". A few Canada geese that are standing on the rocks on shore watch.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a child that is 2 years old or younger, they are free. Everyone above the age of 2 is $5.

Yes, if you take all the garbage with you when you get off the boat, there are no trash cans on the boat.  

Yes, if your pet is well trained and won’t disturb any of the other passengers you can bring your pet on board.  

They are 15 minutes long, if you are interested in a longer tour, please check out our private boat tours.

Yes, we do. Cash, credit and debit are accepted for these $5 boat tours.

We have 2 boats, and each boat can take a different number of people. Wascana I can take 12 passengers, and Wascana II can take 8 passengers.

Both boats have a certain amount of life jackets on board, which limits the number of passengers allowed on board. 

No, when you buy a $5 boat tour, you will be told what time your tour is at.

No, we do not offer any kind of refund for $5 boat tours.
