Rink on Wascana is back!
Get ready Regina!
The Rink on Wascana will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Saturday, January 10.
The boards for the rink will not be up opening weekend, so make sure to exercise caution when skating on the designated rink area.
New this year, we will be offering free youth-sized skate rentals during Wascana Centre events when announced, stay tuned for any further announcements.

Hours of Operation
Rink on Wascana will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting Saturday, January 10, 2026.
The warm-up facility will be open:
- Monday-Friday: 4-9 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 1-9 p.m.
Rules of the Rink
RULES OF THE RINK:
- This rink is for the enjoyment of all – please treat everyone with respect and be considerate of other skaters.
- The use of a helmet is highly recommended for all skaters.
- No pucks or sticks on the ice.
- Access to the lake is not allowed beyond the Rink on Wascana.
- The shelter is intended for skate tying and warm up purposes. No loitering.
- No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed
- Wascana Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
- No shoes on the ice.
- Skaters cannot loiter next to or sit on the boards blocking the skater traffic flow.
- The wearing of personal listening devices is not allowed as skaters cannot hear others skating near them and cannot respond to an emergency.
- Carrying an infant on the ice is not allowed due to the risk of injury to both the child and guardian.
- Those displaying unacceptable behaviour may be asked to leave the skating rink.
The following items are NOT allowed on the ice:
- Walking sticks
- Sleighs & Toboggans
- Baby Strollers
- Wagons
- Chairs
- Sticks
- Balls
- Child Car Seats
- Baby Carriers
- Pucks
